Hourly Driving Tuition

There is no fixed time scale for learning to drive with this option; we go at your own pace. If it is your preferred method for taking lessons then there are discounts available for block bookings.

Test Booster Course

Designed for pupils that are close to test standard and need a short burst of driving lessons prior to their driving test.

Refresher Lessons

The scope of the lessons can be decided jointly by the client and the Instructor, and any aspect of driving can be included.

Confidence Building

Do you feel that you lack confidence behind the wheel? Then this short course is for you, regardless of how long you have driven for.

Motorway Tuition

A motorway lesson would obviously be of benefit to a recently qualified driver, but we also give tuition and coaching to more experienced drivers who may lack confidence.

Pass Plus

In return for completing the Pass Plus course many insurance companies will give a discount, usually equivalent to 1 years No claims bonus (approx. 30%), and this more than covers the cost of the course.

Working within the Perth district since 2005, our commitment is to promote safe and responsible attitudes towards driving and road safety by providing training in a structured manner, highlighting and focusing on defensive driving techniques required for everyday driving. We are members of both the Motor Schools and Driving Instructor Associations. We also adhere to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency – Code of Practice (voluntary) for Approved Driving Instructors.

At Mike’s School of Motoring we guarantee that your driving tuition will be from an experienced high grade fully qualified “Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).” Instuctors are carefully vetted and hold up to date Disclosure Scotland (enhanced) certificates.

We are the first driving school in Perth to be professionally recognised and awarded an Edexcel / BTEC Level 3 qualification (advanced award) in driver coaching and client centred learning. Having this qualification allows us to provide you the most effective and up to date training methods currently available, meaning you usually require fewer lesson than standard.
